SW Virginia Athletic
Facilities Foundation |
|
In early 2007, Jon Bowerbank, President & CEO, EMATS, Inc. founded a 501(c)3 corporation named the SW Virginia Athletic Facilities Foundation to construct 2 multipurpose playing fields at Honaker in ’07 and Richlands in ‘08.
As most of you know, both fields are now complete. Although EMATS, Inc. generated the vast majority of the funds required for these projects, other community entities and individuals provided their skills and resources to help turn this concept into a wonderful reality. These fields are a testament to what can be collectively accomplished when people work together for common goal of helping to improve their community.
EMATS and Mr. Bowerbank wish to formally recognize and thank the following contributors.
